Professor Sir John Armostrong Muir Gray will be the keynote speaker at the training course on the strategic management of healthcare organizations organized by Sant’Anna School Management and Health (MeS) Laboratory on February 8. Muir Gray is the Founding Director of the Oxford Centre for Triple Value Healthcare and a Director of the Optimal Ageing Programme.  Professor Muir Gray focuses on the training to healthcare professionals on value based healthcare and will give a lecture on “How to get better value health care”.

Professor Muir Gray is an internationally renowned authority on healthcare systems and has delivered lectures in many countries outside the UK. He was knighted in 2005 for services to the National Health Service. His expertise and case studies discussions will allow domestic and international healthcare managers attending the Sant’Anna School training program to stay up-to-date on the leading practices in complex organizational management, healthcare leadership and governance mechanisms. While the primary focus is on providing outstanding healthcare service, the thirty highly skilled healthcare professionals will devote their attention to new strategic thinking, innovations in medical software as well as technological developments.

The training course on the strategic management of healthcare organizations organized by Sant’Anna School MeS Laboratory gives the opportunity to interact with distinguished scholars and experts. The MeS Laboratory is pleased to host Professor Sir Muir following the success of past keynote speakers including Josep Figueras and Gwyn Bevan.

This training program 2019 on the strategic management of healthcare organizations comprises 10 modules delivered until the end of June for a total of 160 learning hours.
